The doctoral school hosts over a hundred young researchers from France and abroad, connected to six research labs. It comprises about fifty thesis supervisors from Université Paris Cité, specializing in the history of science, epistemology, and teaching scientific disciplines.

DS 262
Doctoral school 262 (ED 262) is at the Faculty of Law, Economics, and Management on the Malakoff Campus. It is part of the Collège des Écoles Doctorales (CED) and manages doctoral training for Law, Political Science, Economics, and Management—from registration to defense. The school also supports doctoral students affiliated with six laboratories (CEDAG, CMH, IDS, IHD, LIRAES, and ETREs).

Doctoral School 624 emerged from the fusion of ED 382 EESC and 180 SHS, with offices both at the Sorbonne and the Olympe de Gouges building (Paris Rive Gauche Campus). It spans diverse disciplines including anthropology, architecture, economics, geography, history, political philosophy, and sociology, promoting interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary research. Over 350 doctoral students collaborate across fifteen laboratories, bringing a diversity of statuses, compositions, and orientations.
Sport, Motor and Human Movement Sciences

The Sport, Motor, and Human Movement Sciences doctoral school (ED SSMMH) focuses on sports and human movement using a multidisciplinary approach. Based in Île-de-France, it brings together teams from STAPS and other disciplines related to the study of human motricity. It is one of only two doctoral schools in France specializing in this field.
