CEPED – UMR 196
Ceped is a research unit that combines social sciences from Université Paris Cité – Campus Saint-Germain-des-Prés (formerly Paris Descartes) and IRD. It focuses on understanding the relationship between population and development in Southern countries, including Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Arab world.

CERLIS is a social science research lab associated with the Université Paris Cité, Sorbonne Nouvelle University, and CNRS (Unité Mixte de Recherche 8070). Romain PUDAL has been its director since January 1, 2024.

Ethics, research, translation
ETRES – Centre de Recherche des cordeliers – UMRS 1138
The team, associated with the ED 262 doctoral school, provides training in healthcare ethics at Master’s and Ph.D. levels. Their project focuses on translational practices and processes in healthcare, introducing a research program in “translational ethics” that encompasses biomedical research and medical care.

The Institut Droit et Santé focuses on studying healthcare system organization and public health policies, aiming to advance legal thinking in health law.
Institut la Personne en médecine
The Institute researches the experiences of patients and healthcare professionals, with a focus on chronic conditions. Using insights from human and social sciences, it aims to improve medical knowledge and healthcare practices, benefiting both users and professionals.
Institute of Sport and Health Sciences of Paris
I3SP – URP 3625
Since January 1, 2019, the URP 3625 lab has become the Institut des Sciences du Sport-Santé de Paris (I3SP) at Université Paris Cité. Directed by Prof. Bernard Andrieu and Prof. Gilles Dietrich, the I3SP focuses on measuring the abilities of individuals in various aspects. This guides research projects through experiments and surveys, with a primary emphasis on health. The team consists of 3 University Professors and 11 Senior Lecturers.
Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Applied Research in Health Economics
LIRAES – URP 4470
The Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire de Recherche Appliquée en Économie-Gestion et Santé is a research unit comprising teacher-researchers and researchers in economics, management, and accounting at Université Paris Cité.

SPHERE – UMR 7219
The SPHERE Laboratory was created on January 1, 2009, by merging the former CHSPAM and REHSEIS UMRs. You can find the archives of the Unit’s activities from 2009 to 2012 on the websites of both teams, CHSPAM and REHSEIS.
